| Basic Character Information: Name: Shinki Kasai Alias: Flame Gale of Konoha Age: 24 Gender: Male Looks:  Personality: Shinki is a calm,determined,and caring individual. His outward personality seems to be kinda cold and strict,but when he wants to he shows his kind and passionate side,the side that cares deeply for comrades and loved ones. Throughout his life,his personality has been derived from his experiences. Shinki has witnessed his fair share of harshness and cruelty. Through it all he's retained a sense of honor and love. He is a very strict teacher,but he only does it because he wants his students to become the best they can possibly be. He loves his village,and would do anything to protect it. Shinki's true emotions are often shown,and he is very outward and will tell you how he thinks of things,whether you like it or not. Shinki feels that if you can't put your life on the line for your village and loved ones,you don't deserve to wear a headband. He is honest,and straightforward,sometimes pushing his students too hard because he wants them to succeed. Shinki is a very friendly person. In battle however,he is merciless and will kill anyone who opposes him. He retains his care for his comrades,but is much more serious and murderous. Shinki knows that you can show no mercy to your opponents,or they will kill you before you know what happened. Clan Information: Clan Name: Kasai Kekkei Genkai: The ability to form an aura of flames around the caster's body,and can be used as a weapon or as a shield. They can fire fireballs that are tiny and fast,or large and powerful. This technique is ranked depending on the user,therefore it's effectiveness depends on the user. It's rank is equal to the user's rank. In other words a Genin using it as a shield could not block a B-rank technique,but a Jounin could. The same goes for the fire attacks used by it. They do more damage for Jounin than they do for Genin. The small speed fireballs also move faster for the Jounin than Genin. This technique is not quite as useful for a Genin as a Jounin,but is still effective,especially when fighting someone with fuuton chakra nature. Of course even a Jounin could use a weaker version of the aura if they wanted to save chakra. The aura also lasts longer depending on the rank. For a D-rank it lasts 2 posts,for a C-rank it lasts 4 posts,for a B-rank 5 posts,for an A-rank 7,and for an S-rank 9 posts. Clan Symbol: - Spoiler:
Clan History: The Kasai clan was formed in ancient times. It was founded by a man known as the "Master of Flames and Infernos". He married a young kunoichi,and the two discovered a unique jutsu. The justsu created an aura of flames that surrounded the user,with it they defeated many opponents. It became the custom of the clan that to become the clan's leader,you must kill the current one. It was a cruel and intense custom,but it was gone about in an honorable way. The opponents met in combat,both given fair amount of time for preparation. The leaders changed several times in a century,eventually this custom lost all senses of honor,people began assassinating leaders to become the leader. It had become a blood-filled clan,where nobody could trust anyone. When Shinki became twenty-one he decided he'd had enough with the clan's constant fighting within itself. He challenged the leader,using the old customs,and won. After prevailing he made a decree saying that if any member of the clan kills another with out a proven reason they will be exiled from the clan forever,and that the new leader will be chosen by the old one when they are ready to pass on the title. Shinki has become known as the man who brought peace to "The Bloody Kasai Clan". When used for a high-power attack,the user fires a large fireball,two feet in diameter,that moves at ten mph. The high-speed attack shoots a fireball,one foot in diameter,that moves at twenty mph. Description: The user makes a spear made of Katon chakra in their hand. They then throw the spear at their target. Though it's only about two feet long when first created,it extends during flight. As it flies towards the target it grows to five feet in length. When it strikes the target it can sometimes go through the body,but usually just leaves a small puncture wound and burns the spot where it hit. When thrown,the spear moves at approximately 30 mph.

Description: The user creates a large sphere of Katon chakra above their hand. The sphere is usually about ten feet in diameter. It doesn't move quite as fast as some techniques,but it's lack of speed is made up for by it's size,so it's still pretty difficult to avoid. Upon impact it will explode into a large blaze,leaving the land scarred and burned where it hit. The blast radius is about five more feet than the bomb itself.

Description: The user forms a giant sphere of wind that surrounds them. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance and elevation between the user and their intended destination.

Description: Similar to the Clone Technique, this jutsu creates clones of the user. Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. They can also disperse on their own. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original.

Puppets can have these scrolls hidden inside various compartments as a means of increasing their own killing potential as well as hiding potentially useful weapons from the opponent's sight.

Description: This is a kind of "ninja tool summon" that, by sealing ninja tools like swords or kunai into, for instance, a scroll or one's clothes beforehand, allows them to be called upon when needed. The ninja tools are thrown with the actual speed of a "flash of lightning," ruining the opponent's outset of the battle, and snatching away the initiative. Name: Yaiba no Doragon Shikon (Blade of Dragon's Fang) Appearance: - Spoiler:
Rank: A-rank Special Abilities: It has the ability to channel Katon chakra through the blade,causing it to leave burns where it cuts. Origin: This blade was forged by Shinki's great-grandfather who was an accomplished blacksmith and shinobi. He became a blacksmith after retiring. The old man enchanted this sword with a special jutsu,giving it Katon abilities. He forged many blades and sold them for good money,but he held on to this one and passed it down through the generations. When Shinki told his parents he was going to challenge the leader of their clan,his father gave him this sword. Shinki keeps this sword sealed in a scroll and can summon it at any moment. Rank: B-rank Special Abilities: It has the ability to lengthen up to ten feet long,while its original length is three and a half feet. Origin: This sword was made by Shinki's father,who decided to become a blacksmith like some of the other clan members. He forged this blade after lots of practice,and put a special ninjutsu on it to make it grow when commanded to. This weapon was given to Shinki when he became a Jounin. Shinki keeps this sword sealed in a scroll,and can summon it up at any moment. Name: CDEs(Chakra Detonating Explosives) Appearance: They look like little black spheres,three inches in diameter. Rank: C-rank Special Abilities: After charging the explosive with the user's chakra,they then throw them at the desired target. Once it is within range of the target,the user performs a hand sign and it causes the CDE to explode. The explosion is about ten feet in diameter around where it detonated. Origin: Shinki created these bombs when he heard stories of ninja who had explosives that detonated on their command using chakra. He liked the sound of the idea,so immediately began research. It wasn't long after that he began creating these bombs. Once he got the shape down,and the actual weapon the only challenge was getting it to coordinate with his chakra. He put a few special ninjutsu into the weapon,and after a year of work completed them. Shinki usually makes a new bunch of them after every mission so he's ready to use them.

Shinki entered the academy with excitement. It had always been his dream to become a well respected ninja. He studied,trained,and worked hard to graduate from the academy with excellent grades. He would stay up late,studying ,or training. As an Academy Student he saw three former leaders of his clan killed by their successor,each and every time they were poisoned,or assassinated. He finally graduated at the age of twelve.
~Genin Arc~ - Spoiler:
When he became a Genin,he joined a 4-man squad unit like all Genin. His squad consisted of a ninjutsu expert female,and a genjutsu using male. Their sensei was a man who was an expert at medical ninjutsu,and genjutsu. They all became close to each other,and came to think of each other as friends,not just comrades. They worked hard and accomplished plenty of missions.
When they entered the Chunin exam,they were all excited. The three were ready to become Chunin,and they knew they had what it took. In the second exam they ended up fighting very powerful opponents,Shinki barely managed to win,and met up with his female teammate. When the two found the team's other male,he was dead. Together the two remaining defeated the attackers,and passed the exam. In the end both of them managed to become Chunin.
~Chunin Arc~ - Spoiler:
When he became a Chunin,he decided that he hated the ways of his clan,how they were constantly fighting for leadership. So he made up his mind,that when he was stronger he would take on the leader and change their ways. Two more leaders changed out after their assassinations,and he was sent on more and more missions.
His third mission as a Chunin led him into the base of an extremely tough,A-rank missing-nin. Shinki's squad was to assassinate the leader when they got an opening. They were caught when they attempted to assassinate him,and were drawn into battle. At the very start of the fight,two of Shinki's squad mates were killed. He and his old female teammate took on the missing-nin on their own. The battle dragged on for a while,and eventually Shinki and his teammate killed him,and managed to escape.
It wasn't long after that he was sent on an even bigger mission. There were reports of a small gang of bandits that were raiding towns in one general area. Shinki's squad was sent to find the base of this gang,and take them all out. They located the enemy's base in a day,and went immediately to attack. The mission went perfectly smooth,until the end. It turns out the leader of the gang was a highly dangerous criminal,wanted for murder of shinobi,theft,and much more. Shinki fought hard alongside his squad,two deaths happened fairly quickly. He and his former Genin teammate fought with the enemy,however she was killed. Shinki managed to finish off the enemy. He returned to the village,feeling like he'd failed her.
~Jounin Arc~ - Spoiler:
When he became a Jounin,the first thing he did was challenge the leader of his clan. He fought hard,and almost died during the battle. But he managed to pull off a last minute weapon summon that probably saved his life. He had cut the leader's head straight off.
Soon after becoming the leader,he set a rule that no members of the clan will kill each other without a justified reason. This way he could put an end to the violence of the clan,and the successor would be chosen by leader himself.
He was sent on his second mission as a Jounin alongside his former sensei. The two were happy to work together again. Their mission was an important one,blowing up a building that was holding many high ranked criminals inside. They snuck in carefully,and made their way to the center room of the building,where they set many explosive tags. Once they were out,the explosives all detonated,destroying the entire building. There was only one problem,two S-rank missing-nin had been outside of the building,and then attacked Shinki's squad. They did all they could,but in the end only two made it out alive. The two that had died were Shinki's former sensei,and his sensei's best friend.

The sunset is so beautiful. It's the end of the day,and all things must come to a close just like the day. Shinki thought,as he watched the sun set over Konohagakure no Sato. He'd just gotten back from an intense mission,his former sensei had just died on. It was a sad day,he hadn't even washed up or anything since returning,he headed straight to the top of the Hokage's Mansion to watch the sunset.
Things felt so much calmer then they had earlier that day,Shinki would never forget what he saw. Then a thought struck him,I'm the last of my original squad! The other three are all dead now... I can't believe I'll never see their faces again,but I must continue with my own life. I needn't be worrying myself,they would've rather I continue with my life than dwell on their deaths.
It was true,he knew them well enough to know that's what they would've wanted. He had too much to live for to give up on life,but he wouldn't forget them. They had been some of his closest friends,when you see them dead,it's a sight you never forget. The feelings of helplessness,fear,sadness,and loneliness stay vividly imprinted into your mind when you think back to those times,one can never truly forget a moment like that.
Shinki watched a couple of birds building a nest in a nearby tree,they looked so happy and diligent,it made him think of his old female teammate. She was a lot like that,always diligent and happy to be with the squad. His sensei had been kinda like that too. The other male teammate,however,was more aloof and kinda like Shinki. Still,he was a good guy. Shinki didn't let the thoughts of his comrades get him down though,he knew that they would've been comforting him and telling him that he needs to keep on moving,so that's exactly what he planned to do.
The sun finally sank,and the night's stars and moon filled the sky where the sun once was. Just like the day ends,so too will all life. We all live for a set amount of time,and it's our duty to do our best for the world in that time. That's what life is about.,Shinki thought,as he drifted into sleep on the mansion's rooftop.
